WRMK Envelope Punch
Has anyone bought one of these yet? I've been reading on a US forum (yes I've been unfaithful to UKS!) that the first ones produced were marked incorrectly. I would like to get one when they are available over here but not sure how we will know if they are one of the newer correct ones.
It will also be interesting to see how much we are charged for them as they seem to retail for approx $20 in the US. I suppose they are bound to be somewhat more expensive to allow for exporting costs.

I've got one on pre order from a UK seller. it's supposed to be in the country in March. Originally it was going to be here in February maybe the delay is for them to correct the measurement problem you mention Ruth. Mine was a special pre order price of £13.05

Oh that doesn't sound good. I have one on pre-order aswell and paid the same price as Doreen. Hopefully we will get the one with the correct measurements, otherwise there will be lots of returns. Fingers crossed xxx

Apparently if you get one that is incorrect there is a chart/label thingy you can download/print and stick on the board.

I believe this is the page to download the PDF from. As directed by Jim 'the Gentleman Crafter' - interesting Blog and on youtube.

I was interested in getting one of these too but like the OP I read about a few problems with the sizing.
I think I read somewhere that it only makes envelopes upto size 5x7" does anyone know if this is correct?

That's made my mind up then as 6" is going to be just too neat for A5 cards with embellishments on it and as I occasionally like doing 8x8 it won't be any use for these either.
Thanks DJG

When I find blog/s I like I can subscribe to them via Google Reader and it saves them all in one place so I can easily go back to them, it also updates them as the blog owner/s add anything to their blog/s

I received my envelope punch yesterday, from UKS sponsor, and I do believe it has the correct measurements. When I saw there was a sticker enclosed I thought that was with corrections but it has metric measurements on it as the board has imperial measurements. That's great for me as I work in centimetres. Have made one envelope so far and it worked a treat.
