Our posties must have arrived at the same time.

Mine is here too and I must admit I was a little trepidatious (if there is such a word) looking through it following others thoughts.

    My initial thoughts are:

I love the clean layout of the pages

I love most of what I've seen from a quick flick through

Would I buy it again? Probably.

Had a quick flick through and looks interesting but not sure it's worth £9.99 and I certainly wouldn't pre-order again.

I've had a chance to really look through and I've enjoyed it. It's the first time in a long time that I have actually read every page of a scrapping mag without being disinterested or just skimming through. It reminds me of a modern Creating Keepsakes without all the adverts. I'm not exactly overstruck on the price but for once a quarter I would definitely buy it again.

The problem with it being quarterly is £10 is a quarter's worth of magazine spending but you don't get a quarter's worth of magazine reading.

Absolutely - it is so well presented, far nicer than SBM and even ST, but def. overpriced. I still haven't persuaded myself to part with a tenner for it, though did have a very good look through a copy in the shops. Maybe for £7.99, or definitely for £5.99, but really can't justify £9.99 for it

Mine arrived this morning, I was going to give it to a friend for a birthday pressie but it arrived too late. Quite frankly it wouldn't have looked much of a birthday present anyway, I was expecting a much thicker book. The contents are great but next month I will be using Smiths as a library cos I just can't justify the price to myself.

Well done to Shimelle for putting a great magazine together, I have really missed my monthly SI. Perhaps with enough UKS comments they will rethink the price? I am always the optimist!

I saw it yesterday when I was in Hobbycrafts, I was suprised at how thin it was for the price, not much more than I would have expected for a monthly magazine. The copy at the front of the pile was very very well thumbed which suggests a lot of people have thought the same.

I decided not to buy it..... however, having flicked through it I decided that there were a lot of layouts that would be of use to me at the moment so I decided to treat myself to cheer myself up after a bad day.

Unfortunately, I then spent my motorway drive home thinking about what stash I could have bought for £9.99!.

Not sure if I will buy one again, I will have to see how much I "use" it over the next month or so.
