    Cricut Settings HELP!!

I am some what confused with the blade depth and pressure!
I mainly cut mirror card and 250gsm card - pearl etc, is there a chart of settings anywhere.
When cutting the mirror card it goes right through - blade 5 and pressure high, but the edges are a bit rough - it actually looks nice but obviously means I have the settings wrong

    Can anyone help?

Have you adjusted your speed Annie, try it on low ( slow) You have the correct blade & pressure for that weight card. I do find though sometimes that mirror card is a little rough, depending on the quality of it as it's " coated" with the mirror if you know what I mean. If this happens I go round the edges with a bone folder and it seems to tidy it up a little. Other than that make sure you have a fairly new blade in there.

    Thank you again
I didn't think that the speed could be causing the prob.

the speed can make a difference, its difficult to explain but slowing it down for thicker stuff can give a cleaner cut - same for all electronic cutters really

There is a chart, this lovely person has gone through all the different kinds of paper/cardstock and made a list. I have been getting much better cuts since using it. And yes, it gives speed, pressure and blade depths as they all make a difference.

It can be downloaded from here

    Hi

I tried to download the document; but it didn't give me the message in my inbox to activate the download. Could anyone possibly e-mail it to me if I PM them my e mail address??
