Master of cut and paste!
Does anyone do art journals? Need some ideas please.
I may be wrong but I thought we used to have a special forum for art journaling. Maybe it's not popular as it once was? Anyway, I'm thinking of dipping back into it using the theme of "The Book of Me", but I could use some inspiration for what to include. I'm at the age now where I'd like to do this to pass it on to my children when I'm gone. I wish my mother had done something like that. I have a few ideas, but need more (and maybe better ones).
My favourite pets
Best holidays
Best childhood friends
If I could have one superpower, what would it be
My idea of a perfect place to live
etc.
And if you have done/seen one and want to share, that would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

Dedicated Scrapper
I don’t do art journals but I started an ABC book of me a few years back (another project that needs finishing!)
I approached it in a more factual way, giving basic details of my life - family, parents, grandparents. Where I grew up, my first home, where I went to school, my wedding day, where I met hubby, hobbies, ……
Any of the challenges here on UKS can be used as inspiration for art journal pages as well as traditional scrapbook pages, Scrapdolly’s monthly challenge may be one to use - create a page inspired by the words Faith, or Hope.
Would love to see your pages, please do share once you get going

Thanks, Alison. Good ideas! I just received a Kraft notebook as a secret santa gift in my craft group. I wouldn't have thought about doing this until it sparked something! I'll post something once I actually get started.
