Hello everyone. Hope all are good. Have been decluttering and my folder with all my notes on cameo is missing.
Would like to make a bauble to hang on the Christmas tree using mira card.Want to put Hope etc and nativity in the
center of the bauble. Would be grateful if anyone can help me please. Thanks.
Also can anyone suggest a printer that takes thick card please. Had cannon before which was good. However the thread is broken so need
a new one.It has to have a flat top so my Cameo can sit ontop.
If you mean like below you will need to make a frame first then weld the text and make sure it overlaps the inner of the frame but doesn't go outside the the outer of the frame. Then make a frame to weld to the top either round or square

I have always found that rear feed printers deal best with thicker card especially Canon as the card can travel through the printer without bending but that probably isn't an option if you want to stand your Cameo on it.
Hello Shirley Anne and DJG. Thanks for your replies. Yes that's what i meant the baubles. Thanks for taking time out to help.
I shall use the method to make baubles. The printer will do more search. Hopefully will get one.
Happy crafting.

Hello Doreen, just wondering what font you used for hope please?
Have been searching for fonts, when cut out the you can still read the words on the cards. But the the waste of the letters remains on the cutting mat. What should i look for. thanks
The font is Antique Oakland you can download it here https://www.wfonts.com/font/antique-oakland. It was the first one in my font list that's why I used it but any bold font should look fine even some fancy ones should be ok
