Looks like I got the wrong end of the stick Ruth when you said buffalo I thought you meant an animal that's why I said can you not weld them I've never heard of a buffalo check but can see what it's by putting those numbers in the store search box .
To be honest the only way I would use that is to print it even though it says it's a cut file....it actually says this design is ideal for making wood signs whatever that means. EDITED to say when I put buffalo check in the search bar in the store there were others which said they were printable patterns maybe that person has put cut file by mistake

No one new here for a long time. This is the cutting files group did you think it was the scrapbooking group? From what I've read that particular pattern is called buffalo check

Hello, decided to make my own check cutting file.
I made a rectangle to the size i wanted. Then fill it with colour.
Then used the eraser tool, selected solid square. And punched random squares in a check form.
When finished removed the colour from the rectangle. Then sent it to cut.
You can vary the sizes and the shapes. Happy crafting everyone.

Wow, interesting. I am glad I read all the comments before trying a fix to send you. I thought it was the animal as well. Interesting to read on google the history of the meaning.
