Good afternoon all. Well, I thought I might as well post a couple of cards I made this afternoon using my own prompts.
First one is as intended - squares, well, they are before they are cut diagonally and glued on top of each other to create the offset effect, and white and silver. Didn't manage to work an animal in though.
The second one is what you can do with the diagonally cut squares when you glue one half of them together in the wrong direction (DOH!!!) - gives a completely different shape but was determined to use them and actually quite like it. IMG_20210405_154558.jpg IMG_20210405_154624.jpg
Hi Ellie - no it's sparkly wallpaper!!!! When I go to B&M I trawl the wallpaper section and collect "samples" as they make great background papers. Cheeky but true - they are FREE after all! The staff there most likely think I have the most enormous house and that I am constantly decorating it.
Ah a girl after my own heart, wall papers samples and wrapping paper, so much cheaper than actually buying card stock. Great cards yiayia, I love the way you've played with the shapes.
I'd almost finished a card, ready for gluing and my trimmer went off on one so now it is a totally different size to before, not sure what I'll do because I only had a small amount of this card. This is our expensive trimmer Ellie, the one that is never supposed to fail, well it failed big time this evening.
