I used the bokeh dots as inspiration for these cards.
The butterflies are fussy cut vellum and I ‘dotted’ all around the outsides of each element to get the bokeh effect. The flower stamp on the top two is a Stampin Up (retired) stamp set. The one on the left was heat embossed before I did the dots. I prefer this one. How about you?
Those are lovely Elaine, so vibrant and eye-catching, I especially like the Easter butterfly card.
After such gloomy weather of late, I finally managed to get a snap of my card today:
Inspired by the promopt, I went with a biiig star (yellowy mustard tone in the absence of a metallic colour in my stash that would do the job) plus the word wish.
Wow, what a fantastic selection of cards, all so different.
Ellie, I forget to use mirror card for that metal effect, that is beautiful.
Elaine, I like the left one because of the balance from the bokeh effect in the top right corner and yes that heat embossing does give it a bit of a lift, but without seeing them side by side you would just see beautiful cards. The stamps are gorgeous and I noticed you pre-empted me once again.
Love that big bling star Nat, such a great card and I love the stitched effect round the edges.
