I do try and sell them yes. Quite a few go to friends but also from my FB page and hopefully soon from my blog I am working on. I didn't know we were allowed to mention that
I mainly sell them to make room for more
I started making cards because I was fed up with what was available in the shops, stupid joke cards or mushy kittens (nothing wrong with a kitten just not suitable all the time) and nothing in between.
I made them with just plain cards and anything I could think of to decorate them, then I discovered die cutting and then you couldn't see me for the dust
I have been creative my whole life, I hand embroider, crochet, sew, bobbin lace, and some leather work, I also work on my old triumph motorbike. The other passion in my life (apart from my DH and our beautiful cats) is learning Chinese, you may notice a Chinese influence in my cards
Enough about me
You need to tell me if I am chatting too much, I am happy to chat for England
You have some interesting hobbies Lilly. We all love a good chat on here.
Well done on selling your cards. I have a box full, but I don’t think that they are
good enough to sell. I’m not precise enough and my cards are really simple.
I’ve tried being messy and fussy, but the cards just come out looking a mess
Lovely card Ellie, and we don't mind you chatting for England Lilly, good way of getting to know you. I do several different things too - scrapbooking, cards, beading/jewellery making, wirework, and stained glass.
Sweet card Ellie.
Nice to see you chatting Lilly.
I mainly scrapbook but I do cards, mixed media canvases and anything else I can get my hands on really. I’m currently making things for a charity handicrafts stall so I am up to allsorts! I don’t sew or knit though...I wish I could crochet though.
