ATG alternative? Anyone used one of these?

Not seen this before, it is refillable, and I'm curious if anyone has any feedback on it?

Yes I have one and love it. Much lighter than a ATG and being left handed I find it so much easier to use. Highly recommend it.

I've thought about one of these. Can any of you tell me. please, if the refills easy to get, as big as the ATG and photo safe?

The refills are sold in a big craft chain store and yes they are photo safe.

Well glad I asked. Does a sponsor sell them, I wonder?

Not that I know of but if they did start stocking them id certainly buy the refills from them.

I haven't found one..I have found an independent that stocks them though. Cre8tive online. And Craft Memories. I'll see if I can find the links.

You wait for a silence, I wait for a word
Is the adhesive as strong as the ATG stuff?

Yes Dan it is..and the refills are cartridges that just click into the machine. They do a permanent and a repositionable. I like the white strip one..but I haven't tried the repositionable one yet.
...
I'm sure you can soon find them though.

The sponsors who have stuck with UKS wouldn't feel the need to do so if we allow links to non sponsors. Perfectly fine to list a name and leave it to people to Google it themselves/

Ok fair enough but if our own sponsors aren't selling them then supporting an independent should be preferred to a corporate.

This is interesting as I have an ATG and always found it difficult mainly because I am left handed and it seemed to go off to one side. It became relegated to a drawer and I've used the little tape runners since. Also found the ATG to be quite unwieldy, maybe I was having the same problems as you Sandra, I thought it was just my fault.

I never got on with the ATG at all..but this is brilliant and it lasts ages.
