At my age I shouldn't expect courtesy anymore, Sylvia, and I was only giving a heads-up, after all. It breaks my heart that you upload beautiful files with very few taking the time to leave a comment. I know that the total number of views doesn't always mean that everyone who viewed has downloaded the file, but if someone has time to download then, by default, they should have time to thank you. I seem to be having deja vue here - I've had this conversation before with other members (and maybe you, Sylvia).
Time to climb back into my box and for your "thank you".

Unfortunately that seems to be the way of things nowadays Andi. People seem to have forgotten the ability to say thank you or even acknowledge any good deed.
I will put that right by saying thank you for telling us about the latest update.

I agree with you Andi and Sylvia it makes you wonder why we bother. I have a feeling Lucille said that it doesn't matter how many times you look at a post it only registers you once (assuming you're logged in).

I guess I only say 'Thank you' when I've taken some action as a result (i.e. followed advice or downloaded) but if I've only looked I confess to not giving thanks.
