Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better Ellie and sorry to hear you're not Elaine. All the stress of Christmas does not help your immune system one bit. Is your mum's cat okay Elaine?
Just wanted to post this card to all on cardmaking challenge, as I won’t get time
tomorrow, as am travelling north. Just cooked sausage rolls and ham is in the oven.
Think I’ve overdone it this year, had to cut it in half and cook two instead of one : lol:
Anyway I wish you all a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS, and hope you all have a lovely time
whatever you are doing.
Love from Ellie.
Lovely card Sarah. I had a bunny just like that when I was little, although mine looks the worst for wear now !
Happy Christmas to you too Ellie
I have failed in my card sending this year, I really am going to start getting organised for next Christmas in January !!
That's lovely Ellie, thank you very much, great idea!
I've failed in my christmas card making definitely Alison, so I'm hoping to make some and keep them for next year (God willing!).
That's a very classy card Alison and I love the pearls. Did you die cut the snowflake twice and offset it, I can't quite make out how you've done that?
Lovely cards ladies. Suzie, Christmas in July - I keep trying lol even though I do some classes, my own seem to be made in December!
Safe journeys for those travelling away from home. I'm off back down to Kent the birthplace for Boxing Day, dad had a big op recently and don't want him driving anywhere! He's a bit of a trojan, but with an 8hour op behind him, chemo and radiotherapy, he's staying put!
Safe travelling everyone. Happy Christmas to all.
Love that card Alison..beautiful!
I'll nag you all next year to make Christmas cards! I see mention of a card making challenge on the new thread about challenges next year..wonder what it'll be?
Safe journey to all of those travelling this Christmas. The weather is mild here at the moment and as long as it stays dry I'll be happy.
My 5 year old nephew sat down and wrote out his own Christmas cards (shop bought but it's a start). It was his own idea too and his nanny found 20p in her card. I think we got a penny. I thanked him today and told him how clever he is and boy was he happy. Do we have another little crafter in the making I wonder! He told his mummy he would just send them to family for now, how sweet is that.
Alison, I thought that was what you had done, it is a beautiful card.
I also hope your dad is okay Sarah, have a lovely Christmas with him.
Off to bed now, early for us but the fridge/freezer is arriving first thing - hopefully!
Awww how sweet such a caring little man Susie
Hope the fridge delivered I keep checking ours it's overloaded and in shock this time of year
Safe journey Sarah Ellie
Yes Elaine we will keep you to that we need a push to be organised
Speak for yourself I hear
Love your card Alison stylish
I thought I posted a comment to like everyone else cards too
I see there's a challenge to get ahead in 2018 with cards that's the aim
Hope we continue I am sure we will as we had a good year enjoyed the colour themes for inspiration
Thanks Nat
Yes..a big thank you to Nat for setting us these great challenges each month and showing us her wonderful creations too.
Keep crafting everyone!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and it is a joyous and peaceful time! As the saying goes 'Enjoy the little things for one day you will realise they were the big things!'
I have a house full over Christmas so doubt I'll be on here again so HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Xxx
Safe journey Sarah, hope your dad enjoys his family round him at Christmas
Thanks Nat for a fab year of prompts, and everyone for the lovely chat.
Looking forward to 2018, I think sue is reviving the 5 cards on the 25th challenge, so we keep ahead with our Christmas cards. I managed to do that in January , then failed miserably for the rest of the year !
Have a lovely Christmas everyone and another 'thank you' Nat for the prompts this year. I hope to do better next year, but let's see what life has in store.
