So many crafts, so little time
Thank you :-)
Yes it is a TL, first time I have used it, but definitely not the last! The butterflies are Memory Box.
I am finally packed just waiting for DH to finish now and then we are off!!

Happy Anniversary Wendy enjoy your break love the cards esp the first one

I will post the wedding card here simply because it has the tiniest bit of yellow at the centre of the flowers. Another card I'm posting has the grey that was in the prompt although I know it should be yellow really. I saw this photo and thought it would make a nice quick sympathy card, especially for the OES rescue. They have lost a couple of their oldies lately and no matter how many times it happens I know how devastated they are.

Here's the grey one, if you couldn't guess!

Both your cards are exquisite Susie.
I like how the small photo is in a wooden frame.
Did you get a verse for it.
The second card brought a lump to my throat.
The sentiment is spot on, and it could be used for any sympathy card,
be it for an animal or a human.
I love the picture of the dog looking into the distance.
In a simple way, it's very dramatic... love lt

Susie love the wedding card and the second one gulp so sad they will appreciate that beautiful card

Thank you so much Ellie. That photo of the dog is just so wistful, you can look at it in so many ways and that's what I liked about it, it could be used for any loved one.
The frame is actually much nicer when you see it close up and it was a download. I've used it for anniversary cards before now but you could just put a greeting in if you didn't want to put a photo, but it is perfect for a photo. Thank God for the internet I say!

Thanks Denise.
I meant to say if you think we are mad about OES check out de wollewei photography. They have the most amazing photo's, not just OES but mainly them and he took a photo of his dogs every day for a year I think it was. How he keeps them still to pose the way they do I don't know. Ours only pose like that when they're asleep!
I have a great one for our anniversary, I don't know whose photo it is but it's going on a card to hubby. This is it....

Wendy, love your butterfly cards. I like the contrast of the brown and yellow in the first card.

Aaah thanks Alison, don't you think I look lovely in that wedding photo! The bride and groom one that is!
It was the first thing I noticed whenever we got rescues, on the initial photo's their mouths were closed and once they'd settled in mouths open.
That guy (I take it it's a guy) is a super photographer, did you see the one of the moon?

How do those dogs not trample all the tulips though?
How long are you away Ellie?
I've actually printed off some yellow card today. I've suddenly realised I am letting the dies make my cards so I need to get back into making them like I used to, to some degree anyway. Just need some ideas now, I may look back on older cards and see if they can be updated in some way.
