Susie..that card is GORGEOUS, really! You should be proud if it... I'd be thrilled to receive it too like Eloie said!
Love your cards Ellie..my favourite is the tree one...good job we're all different.
I'm in Majorca but I seem to have decent wifi..although I didn't bring any crafting stuff with me.
I do love the tree one too but I have a real soft spot for Teddy Bears.
Hope you're having a great time in Majorca even if you haven't any craft stuff with you - I mean, what were you thinking??? Mind you, you made enough before you went you were on such a roll with the Christmas cards.
A couple more cards using the one die which I love. I'm going to see how many different ways I can use this die, I fancy doing a card for spring with it.
Thanks Ellie, the clean simple lines are what I was aiming for. I'm going to try duplicating the flowers next and see how that works, should be quite effective. This is the sort of card you could make a few of and leave the sentiment off until the last minute depending on what was needed. Mind you, that's a nice thought, it's just a case of getting round to doing it!
That's a good idea, doing quite a few.
Do you have an electric die cutting machine ?
I only have a manual one, and sometimes find it a bit
of a faff to get it out to cut one thing, so tend to think of
other things to put on the cards
Ellie.
No mine isn't electric either and I know what you mean especially as machines can be quite heavy. Still, it's worth the effort in the end and I do love my dies!!! In fact, I think I'll cut some right now.
Wow! You lot have been busy!!!
All the wonderful Christmas cards on this thread have got me rather nervous about how behind I am working on my own!
But it has been a busy few weeks and I did some very urgent crafting last Monday morning when my brand new niece arrived into the world and needed to get her card made before visiting hours at the hospital.
But now the weather is getting more autumnal and the nights are drawing in, there may be opportunity to put on some festive tunes and get crafting...
Just left a message but I'd been timed out or something. Anyway, I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, I love both of your cards Ellie and I only wish I had as many ideas for cards as you have. I particularly love the little snowdrop and wanted to know if it was a die or stamp or what!?
Hi Susie. The snowdrop isn't separate. It was just a card that I'd had for
a few years, and found again yesterday when I was looking for something else.
I think it was from Lily of the Valley. I just mounted it on a piece of silver card,
to make it stand out..
Glad you like it.
Ellie.
