Both gorgeous cards Ellie. I love the swirls and flourishes in the background of your Christmas card, I would never have thought of using them but they look super!
Oh my word! I've just seen this thread! What a shock Nat.. I hope you're now 'getting over it' ..not easy I know.. and you Ellie.. what a nasty thing to have happen! I'm jolly glad to say I don't have a story to share like that!
I love your cards Ellie.. especially the first one and the Christmas one.. great job! I hope I may get a chance to join in later in the month. I don't have many birthdays coming up (or occasions) so I'm a bit lacking on enthusiasm atm. I hope I find my card mojo soon!
I decided to make a simple white and gold card for Christmas as I don't need any more birthday cards really (I already have a box full of made cards waiting for 'someone')..lol
So here it is..a simple one.
I'm sorry I don't know what the folder is..it's one I bought in a clearance off eBay. I'll have a look and see if it has a makers name on it.
I did a card class yesterday and made two cards. Here they are..they are much more elaborate than my usual style but it's nice to try something else once in a while and the new group I've found are really friendly and welcoming.
Only the first one works with our colour scheme this month but I wanted to show you other cardmakers my card anyway. Lol
Lovely cards Elaine. A fun first one, but the second one is beautiful and intricate .
Love those die cut leaves and background. Very clever.
Makes mine look plain
Gorgeous cards Ellie Elaine Francis
Yes the embossing folder of the christmas card you did Elaine is lovely simple but stylish and the other multi frame one so intricate and I like the fun masculine one too
love the one with the 3 speech words Ellie and the christmas one too The butterfly one is gorgeous
Awful news about the burglary Nat not a nice thing to witness
Thank you feeling inspired now going to make a card
