If I had the energy I'd have a midlife crisis
damp envelopes :(
I recently found a stash of envelopes I had squirrelled away when I moved.
The problem is they have been in a damp atmosphere & they have all sealed themselves shut.
Is there an easy way to unstick them so I can use them, or do I just bin the lot.
I don't mind if they look slightly "used" as they will be used up on my own cards rather than sold

Maybe give them a quick blast with a heat gun, or put them somewhere warm so it melts the glue a bit, though not sure that either would work effectivelyto be honest.

thanks for the suggestion
there are two types of envelopes & they seem to have different sorts of glue. One batch is OK with steam but the other isn't responding to either dry heat or steam.
Anyone think of uses for a few slightly wrinkled & scorched envelopes

How about one of those mini books made with envelopes? I can't remember what they are called offhand, but you slide one envelope into another. It probably wouldn't matter if some of them are a bit wrinkled or scorched.

Could you slit them neatly at the top to insert the card and seal them with decorative tape to make a feature of the top?
