Navy cardstock, topper and striped backing paper were both freebies in a craft magazine last year. Vertical texts are Robert Addams dies, and the Holly Flourish is one of Cheery Lyns.
Hehe, I know what you mean Trish - perhaps this challenge should come with a suggested supplies list, and that die would definitely be top of the pile!
SilverTiger - well done keeping up with all the Christmas Crackers this year! Really like the 3 wise men scene on your card.
Well, better late than never, here's my Christmas cracker for this week's sketch - I dragged out some older stash only to discover I am falling out of love with it. <sniff>
Caught up, until tomorrow Week 21 vertical strip - they proved very difficult to photograph and I had to resort to laying them flat and using blu-tak to stop them springing open
The stamp is an old Creative Expressions one, not sure how old but I remember buying it in the bargain bin at Ally Pally many years ago.....
thank you :-) Yes, it's a Martha Stewart border punch.... it's quite old, doesn't have the fold up sides like the newer ones, I think it might be called Doily Lace?
Lynn, I left you a blog comment for that very cute card.
Wendy, love how this card mirrors your design for the main card for week 21. It also reminds me I should use my doily border punch more - I am so reliant on dies these days I often overlook my punch collection! Perhaps there's a prompt in there somewhere.
Nat
I am completely up to date now, here is my Christmas shades of green for week 22. I have used a Waltzing Mouse Christmas border, embossed in white, with three different shades of distress ink over the top. I couldn't leave the white space though, so I have tried a trick I found whilst surfing and scored some lines across, I really like the effect
Bottle green card stock, piece of Kanban backing paper, LOTV topper matted onto green and green hologram. Text is a Marianne die ... and I have been playing with my new punch !
