Oooh these are lovely Karen, especially like the one inspired by the colours in your bedroom. Right up my street as an aqua lover!
Here's my card for this week's "celebrate the season" prompt - I think I'll need to keep looking at it perched on the shelf in my office before it goes to the card basket to remind me that it's actually July out there. So cold and grey this morning!
Just doing a catch up with comments, I hadn't realised that we had finally rolled to a new thread.
For all those who have put your cards in the gallery - I have left comments there for you.
Cat - I seem to remember that you joined late last year and did an amazing job of catching back up with us, I am sure you will do the same again. Well done on all that you have made so far, they are all fab but I especially like your Clean and Simple ones - I love that butterfly die. The literature ones are really fab, great idea to scan pages from the books. Your masculine cards are great too - love the cogs hanging from the pine branch.
Lilli - love your three youth cards, they are all great.
Wendy - great fantasy card for the youth theme, love your sticker card - I wish I could find some inspiration to use up some of my stickers, I find it so hard as I don't like them. Love the monochromatic card for the colour theme challenge - really great card for those difficult males.
Nat - loving all of your cards, thank you for all your great inspiration
Here are my week 16 - negative die cut cards. I used a SU set - Apothecary Art which has a matching set of framelits. The embellishments were then stamped using a flower stamp (also SU) from Elements of Style set.
Birthday card = Cream linen effect cardstock, hexagons cut from left overs from various paper mats and mounted on silver mirri.
Christmas Card = Peach card stock, gold peel off holly corners, Snowflake stamp. Stamped it onto black card using flitterglu then used gilding flakes. Mounted it onto gold mirri.
Sarah - your cards are really charming and it is lovely to see something so unique. Kat - well done on your catch-up!
I am probably only a couple of weeks behind now, but am waiting until after tomorrow to start uploading. I have my twin sons' 2nd birthday party/our farewell bash tomorrow, and have made quite a few cards for friends, which I want to give them then - so can start uploading from Sunday, assuming I'm not too exhausted!
oh my word - a little bit of sunshine and I'm way behind!!!!
Karen: I love your neg die cuts, love the colour choice.
Alibri :The fish are fantastic! I love the colour behind!
Wendy: I think you need 10 points for the seasons there, brilliant idea!
Silvertiger: lovely cards, really love the hexagon one!
Stillcrafting: I'm a massive fan of digi but only tend to use it as elements on a card - you have inspired me! Love the '4' one!
I have to admit, cards have taken a major backseat - cupcakes and crochet has taken over lately! Thankfully I had one on order or I'd still have this on my list of 'to do's'!
