Right, I've made my first print and cut, its not perfect in that the right one, which is the decoupage bit, has to be printed with the leaves as I didn't know about getting rid of unwanted bits in Paint when I was doing it. But you only waste a little bit of printing.

This challenge is just the kick up the behind I need to get me started on learning to use the colour fills more effectively in Inkscape. I tried to make the same thing in Studio but it doesn't have a circular gradient so I gave up that idea.
The cutting file looks a bit ugly with the cut lines around it, you will have to pretend they aren't there

Here are the roses that I drew in silhouette last night, its got two diff kinds of flourishes to show my husband so don't think I have gone mad LOL.
anyone is welcome to use them if you can but I made them to print onto clear vinyl to put on a narrow-boat.
Please let me know what you think or if you think I can improve them. I am not above chritisism(sp)
Don't forget when you download them to set the cut lines to none for printing. Unless you want to sit there all day piecing lol also you need to delete the alternate flourish on the right top. and replace it with one of the others.
sorry I forgot to do it before I uploaded it

Ok Lucille. The vase's I was going to put the vinyl's on are in use at the moment so as I'd already removed the cut outs from the vinyl to photograph them I thought I would put them on my Cameo and cut some more when I've emptied the vases. I have put the butterfly on my Netbook though. Here are the files ans photos
We have decorated our bedroom and one wall has these large flowers, one of which I scanned in, copied to SS, resized, printed on vinyl, cut out on Robo and stuck onto a tissue box. Print and cut file is too large to upload and I don't know how to zip a file - sorry.
