Now, this one was a challenge, as I didn't have anything in my stash at all that was remotely suitable! So, all the materials for it had to be generated digitally!
Great card Hazel, if you hadn't said I would never have guessed the materials were digitally generated!
You'll never guess what? I've managed to upload some of the cards I've made in recent weeks! I've taken pity on you all and uploaded them in one go 52 Card Challenge - Catch up
Off to catch up on this week's prompt
'people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'
its beautiful - I love your blog Nat, one of a few that makes me want to craft and bake and read....
Couldn't agree more! fab blog Nat, I don't comment on blogs very often as I'm so technically challenged and can never remember my logins etc! But rest assured your blog is up on my 'must visit' list
Yiayia, thank you for your encouragement - I will make a special effort to get that flower made TC good point about the Americanised stitches, I'll keep that in mind
'people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'
Wow Jayne, they are fantastic cards, the mother's day one is my favourite
I am still struggling back from being ill and now have to do some catching up too.... I know how I'll be spending the long weekend!
Thank you for the lovely comments girls! And re the baking... I would look away from my blog this weekend as I am planning some low-key baking endeavours for Easter weekend... it just depends on how they turn out whether they make it to the blog.
Hazel that card is gorgeous! You chose some really beautiful patterns.
Jayne - well done on your big catch-up! They are all fabulous but I particularly love the Week 7 card.
Wendy I hope you are feeling better and the crafty weekend sounds like the right medicine to get your spirits up.
Right, I need to get some work done and then I can sort the blog post for this week's Christmas cracker, quite apt considering the sight outside my window!
Hazel that is a stunning card, I have to know where you got the digital designs from, pleeeaase.
It was only the 'floral' background Susie (that I 'borrowed' just for this challenge, then I 'picked out' the red & blue for the plain backgrounds from the pattern and 'made' the topper in Photoshop Elements and printed them all out. Sorry
Thanks for the lovely comments girls, I've already earmarked other prompts for some cards I plan to make this weekend so hopefully I'll get to catch up even more
Nat, I might even do some Christmas cards too cos as you say the scenes outside certainly fit!
'people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'
Hah, yes, I am hoping that I will not be getting Christmas vibes this week, although I still need to get my cards made for next week's prompts!
Anyway, here's the card I made for this week - thought I might as well share it in the thread as it's nice to have all the makes from the challenge here in the thread.
