Here's the thread for you to share the Christmas cards you make in response to the main prompts of the 52 Cards Challenge 2013.
All the prompts for the challenge - past and present - can be found on my blog here.
Simply interpret the weekly prompts to make a Christmas card in addition to your main card for that week.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who needs the added push to get a good stockpile of cards created before December 2013 and so avoid mad panic and stress in the festive period... well, at least from a creative point of view! So make the most of sticking to that crafty resolution! It'll be hard at times, but focus on the end result!
If two cards a week is too much or you just want to concentrate on making Christmas cards for a few of the prompts, no problem. Whatever you manage is great.
I will be sharing any Christmas cards I make in response to prompts later in the week as I'm not sure I'll manage a Christmas card for every Monday - but it'll be nice to space out the crafting time.
Just getting our Christmas crackers started... here's the card I made which included a little misadventure with some Mr Hueys - I wasn't expecting the "spray" to travel so far and splatter my keyboard! Oh well, it's all a learning curve!
Just popping in to say that I will be joining in with the Christmas card challenge as well. I try to have at least one day per month where I just make Christmas cards so it will be nice to use our weekly prompts for that.
Excellent! I'm hoping to see this thread filling up with a few Christmas cards as the weeks go on. I am certainly determined to try and make one in the same sitting as the card I make for the main challenge each week. But I think there will be times when I may need to nick the excellent idea I saw posted in the other thread of duplicating the design to make a Christmas card. Genius!
Week 1 Christmas card. It doesn't follow the 'new' theme, but uses most of the same stash as my New Year card. It's a design I made last year and was one of my favourites, so I don't mind making a few more
Fiona, that's a gorgeous card and I hope you don't mind me nicking that idea please?
I'm going to try and use the card prompts to make my family/special Christmas cards, I probably won't achieve it every week but even if it's just once a month by the end of the year I'll have enough ready
'people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'
oh, I didn't realise there was a seperate thread for Christmas cards !
I have almost done this weeks challenge, will put the Christmas one here.

Finally someone has recognised my genius, Thanks Nat !!
Love your card design Fiona, I too may steal that one week if thats OK
My Christmas card based on week1 challenge. Lovely cards Anne and Fiona. I am going to have a go at more stamping, I keep buying stamps and never get round to using them.
