This is a first for me in a few ways, first time I have plucked up courage to post on here and my first ever robo template too. And its all thanks to a lovely lady called Patricia, who I was chatting to yesterday afternoon in a local shop I have spent ages since yesterday and have finally managed to create this little boat, I hope you like it.
I would appreciate if someone could please test it as although I have done it I really would like some feedback.
Hi
I thought I would have a try at making a template and trying to upload it.
It is a rough copy of a Microplus Boat created in Inkscape and saved as a SVG.
The font used in the writing is comic sans.
Please try it and let me know if it has worked.
After searching through some of the files I've made, I managed to come across a few for the "boys". Here's the first one. A silhouette yacht. Nothing too flash, but something is better than nothing. Hope it cuts ok
I cut this with heavy cardstock, very slow, and two passes. Some of the lines are thin if you size it down for a card. For Fun I put it on one of my lamps. I used Black Rose Font, but you won't need it. Everything was welded and outlined.
I am sure I haven't uploaded this before, I found it while trying to tidy my pc, It was taken when we at the beach several years ago, and I thought it would be good for a man card
If anyone needs an idea for a mens/boys card to do with the Navy, thought this might come in useful - a type 23 frigate silhouette which i'd traced from a photo.
Also anyone who has visited Portsmouth might like this Spinnaker Tower - ive cut it out in white but also printed some red/white/blue stripes on white photo paper and then cut, so it looks like the evenings when the tower is lit up!
The pic of the card is a bit marked after id tried to add snowflakes, but gives an idea of the tower.
The two cut-outs are in same studio file.
I haven't lost my mind, its backed up on disk somewhere........
