Another cute baby card, this time I have tried something diffferent and came up with this "popout" free standing card. The crib etc are mounted on a flat 5x7 ins. card and on mine I printed my sentiment on the rear of the card, but if you wish to make a tradtional folded card then this should work as well..
The crib and wardrobe pops out from the card by way of concertina fixings and folds flat for posting..
I used whispers and copics to colour the baby and the teddy bear but I have included a pdf of these for boy and girl which you can handcut and fix on to the base balnk cut if you dont want to colour it yourself..
Thanks for looking and the template is available HERE
I designed this swing card for my DGD’s birthday as she adores her dolls house, though my DD suggested it might work well as a ‘New Home’ card too.
After cutting the interior topper from plain coloured card and gluing it on the inside of the swing card, I ungrouped the topper and cut each room’s elements separately from patterned paper. I have included an unfurnished topper for the inside, in case you anyone would prefer to add their own furniture and fittings.
I cut this card from Conqueror Concept 250 gsm card and drew the tiles, windows and railings etc. with Silhouette Sketch Pens.
Here in this template I have created a birth clock for those precious new arrivals
There is space for the following information babys name, weight time and date of birth and will make a special little keepsake or it could also be added to your scrapbook page.

I am not sure what this type of topper should be called, so I have gone with ‘honeycomb’.
These two designs were very simple to assemble and great fun to decorate. I think they would look cute stuck onto a gift box or perhaps on a large gift tag, though I prefer to use them as card toppers myself. Once assembled they make quite a bulky card though, so I have included an A4 template for a matching box in each design to take a card that measures 4½” x 5¼”. I have also included a 4½” x 5¼” card template.
Assembly instructions for the topper are in the zip folder in case anyone needs them, along with the SVG, Studio and GSD files, and I hope they might come in useful.
