Got a bit of catching up to do today and Monday - weeks 14, 13 and 11 to do. My head has been in scrapbooking mode with two weekends I had last month - set a new all time record for me - 22 layouts in one month!! So this week has been designated as card catch up. I am off to look at all your lovely cards - hadn't realised the thread had rolled so I wasn't notifications of new posts to the thread. Will be back later with comments!!
Here's mine for the sketch for week 14. I have used papers from Echo Park's This and That Graceful 6x6 pad that my daughter got me for my birthday on this one.
Karen I've been having a scrapfest this last week two and was feeling pleased with myself that I've done six LOs in a week, but 22 in a month is phenomenal! Well done you
If I can peel myself off the sofa today I might do some more crafting....I'm starting to get an idea for last week's now so that might be the incentive I need I'd better go and look for this week's too while I'm thinking about it.
'people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'
'Happy' - you can interpret this in any of the following ways:
•Include the word happy on your card as part of a greeting
•Use colours that represent happiness
•Include images or a theme that will make the recipient happy
•Make something that makes you feel happy
•Feature items that make you happy
'people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'
I have finally had a look back at everyone's cards now hopefully I can read the quick notes I made (I have a brain like a sieve )
Phil - your doiley card is beautiful, it looks purple to me. Your sketch card is really lovely - I am trying to ignore how lovely those papers are as I am supposed to be on a stash diet
Virginia - I love your lace card, the colours are beautiful and you have given me an idea on how to use a similar set of stamps that I have. Your sketch card is lovely too.
Trish - your Easter card is lovely - the chick paper is perfect for it and the butterfly birthday card is beautiful.
Lilli - I love your vintage card and your two sketch cards are lovely too.
Lin - that bunny image on your Easter card is so cute and I love the stamp you have used for week 13, plus a great card for the sketch week.
Jayne, Susie and Barbara - I have left you all comments on your cards in the gallery.
Hopefully I haven't missed anyone out. I am almost caught up, just got week 11 to do now (oh and check out this week's challenge ). Not much hope of decent light today to get any piccies but will get them posted here very soon!!
