Susie if I'm stuck I look through LOs or cards that i've made previously or other people's ideas for inspiration. I think I have made better cards since I started scrapping, as my cards have become more "scrappy". Having said that, I haven't thought how i'm going to make this weeks card yet...
Took a while to decide what to do for this week's prompt, so in the end I cut an aperture with a circle punch and then decided how to work around it! The aperture is raised up on sticky pads, not sure if you can tell from the photo.
Claire that is lovely! Really sweet sentiment. Love those penny black hedgehogs I might have to make this week's card a valentines card, for which i was going to use my hedgehog stamps. I'm not copying, honest! hehe.
Those cards are just stunning, I love the MME grid background paper - I am a real sucker for teal! And that aperture is lovely on the 3d foam.
Phill, that is a fab idea for an aperture, really effective and I cannot believe how neatly cut out your stamp girl is, I just wouldn't have the patience or skill!
here is mine I thought of loads of ideas in the end but they were all for girly cards, and i needed to get this one made. I've not used this set of stamps in years so it was nice to get them out again
Hello - I know it's a bit late but have loved doing this - pushes you in another direction.
I have made for weeks 1 and 2 so far and will do another couple today I hope.
The week 1 card used some very old stash - never like orange much but quite like this design.
Week 2 card was actually used for my great nephew's birthday yesterday - so hope he like it. cheated a bit as the handmade embellie was just two colours of ribbon stacked and the journalling was the banners top and bottom but at least I tried!
