storage
Those of you who have a lot of die for the Big Shot etc.... How do you store the ones which don't have boxes?
-
Determined to reduce the stash and photo pile
I just keep mine upright in a sideboard drawer! Not much help I know but I can see the 'name label' easily and would rather spend my money on stash than storage, as a lot of storage I have bought I've not found useful in the end. I use biscuit tins and old boxes more than anything else.

Do or do not, there is no try!
I have mine in some boxes I bought from a local store xxx

Mine are in a wicker basket bought from Dunelm. It's one that is just wide enough to stand the dies upright in ie the Tim Holtz alteration die size.

Master of cut and paste!
Mine are stored on a shelf in my craft room. For each one, I glue a picture of the die on the outside (smooth side) of the die, then stack them so that I can see the title of each, which is on the end.

Mine are in a biscuit tin we got for Xmas but I really don't have that many and only 2 TH ones so they fit in nicely. Plus I got to eat lots of biscuits...

Don't they come with paper die cuts of the pattern anyway? These are usually on the back of the die so you can see what the dies are. As long as you have the name of the die uppermost then you can see what it is.

I have all of mine, and all my embossing folders etc, in an Ikea storage basket that fits into a cube on my Expedit.

My sizzix dies are stored in DVD boxes, with name labels uppermost, so I can see at a glance which one is which. My cuttlebug dies are stored in A5 boxes, my QK are stored in a QK binder (not got many of them) and lastly my embossing folders are stored upright in a type of recipe box. My nesties and other nestie type dies are stuck to magnetic strips that I stuck to the side of my 2x2 expedit, so always at hand :-)
