I've been absent for awhile - painting my new craft room.
Decided to change my formal living room into my dining room and
turned the dining room into my craft room.
I'm so proud - I did it "all by myself"!!
I have been burning this challenge in my mind, while I was doing all that
tedious work and this is what I came up with.
Hope it is useful.
The fonts I used were Fantasy and Gallery Normal.
The awning is pieced to get the striped edge.
I've posted the SVG and GRA files. When I have more time, I will do the GSD
and add it.
Thank you for setting us such an interesting challenge this month Linda.
I have made a line art card out of my framed saying – which I hope will still qualify? I used the saying “Home is where the heart is”.
The line art pattern on the frame/card outer was inspired by Doreen’s lovely Hounds Tooth Lattice card here. Thank you for sharing Doreen. I think mine turned out more like a tartan though.
Thank you for all the wonderful files uploaded so far. Here's another from me to add to the collection.
This line art design uses a birthday blessing that I found online, unfortunately the author was listed as ‘unknown’ so I can't credit him/her.
The examples were drawn with Stabilo Point 88 Fineliner pens onto thickish watercolour paper. The pens fit happily into the standard Robo pen holder, and being water based there was no risk of them smudging on this surface.
I hope someone might find it useful either framed or as a card.
This line art card set was made using my Silhouette Sketch Pens and cut from 250 gsm Conqueror Concept card. I cut the butterflies from patterned vellum, folded them in half and stuck them over the drawn butterflies for a 3D effect.
I have included a matching insert and topper, and hope they might be useful to someone.
Edited to add SVG files

Reason: Edited to add SVG Files
This line art flower design was inspired by a desk lamp at my MIL's house, so not sure what kind of flower it is supposed to be.
Both the cards pictured were drawn with Silhouette sketch pens on 250 gsm Conqueror Concept Card, one coloured with Twinkling H20's and the other with a few dabs of chalk.
I have included the GSD, Studio and SVG templates in the zip file and hope they might be useful.
This is my first line art file. Two days ago I would never have thought I could acheive this on my robo. I dedicate this card to the wonderful Joyce who has step by step guided me through this end product. Thank you to a lovely lovely lady.

Butterflies on a scalloped circle, for pen and blade (Line art)
Butterflies for the pen, scalloped circle for cutting out.
I've added the details to the file I hope it's easy to understand.
I have made this and it cuts fine
This was made in Studio version 1.7, it is a 5" card, obviously you can resize it.
I've been having a play with line art today, perhaps someone can use it. The colours are grouped to make it easier to set the cut lines, it can be used in several different ways;
Select the line art on the card and delete everything to use with a topper.
The topper has a mat, which if you break apart by releasing the path, you can use the centre of the mat to cut an aperture in the front of the card with the line art around it.
This card set was inspired by a patch of violas growing in my garden. The cards and toppers were drawn with my Silhouette Sketch Pens on 250 gsm Conqueror Concept card.
I have included GSD, Studio and SVG files in the zipped folder, and hope they might be useful.
This is my 1st go at making my 1st line art. Hope some one will find it useful.
FOR ELLEN. I have re uploaded the file with the outside green line changed to black for cutting (NOT DRAW). I dont no what has happened when you drew the green dots but all the colours were grouped together separately so that you only had to click on each colour and then click on cut. I have tested this as you can see from the photo and it ran fine. As I am not an advanced user of Silhouette if you have anymore problems just ask on here and I am sure Lucille would be able to help you as she is brilliant with this software, she has helped me alot with the tutorials etc.
