I cut the word 'teenager' using the font STENCIL along the number one.
The card fits a C5 envelope.
Edited to add: I used my score board to score a line in the top page about 2cm in from the edge, stuck the 2 edges together and then used eyelets along the edge.
My granddaughter will soon be 16 - how the years do fly! This girly card was designed in the DM software and converted to a GSD file. The scalloped border was done using the Transform> fit object to path method described in Sandy's excellent manual. When converted to GSD format the outline was a bit wonky and the cirles not quite circular but on the whole not too bad. It was a bit fiddly to cut ( cutting the mat first and then the sweet 16 which I put through the xyron and then glittered, and finally the scalloped border. I can see that the scalloped border does not quite fit to the cut-out but a bit of fiddling should sort that out. Finally some beads round the frame and the flowers are punchies! I was quite pleased with the end result and thought I'd post the template if anyone could make use of it.
This was done in DM for my granddaughter's 17th next month. I have converted to GSD using the PDf>inkscape>DXF>GSD method but have not cut it so I hope that it will be OK. All the bits you need including the border are there on the GSD, you just need to zoom out to see them all.
I used Conqueror concept card 250gsm (which Tina sells) and some scrapbooking paper for the top part and borders.
Please forgive the odd angle that this card was taken, it was hard to get a shot were the gold mirri didn't shine too much. Hope the template may be of use to someone, there is no fold line as I wanted it to be a larger card but you can play around to get the size you want. I don't much like the blue and white but my husband said the club colours had to be on it!
Well, I got it done, but I can't vouch for how it looks! I haven't cut it yet, and I know some of the lines are not as straight as they could be. This is all a learning exercise, right? It looks deceptively simple, but it took me most of the afternoon....

Reason: files updated - better version!
Nothing very original here but I needed a quick card for a friends grandson and I was really stuck for ideas as I find boys cards so hard to do so did a little variation on one of the first templates I ever made for the Robo many years ago. Thought I might as well post it in case anyone else can make use of it.
My middle granddaughter will be 16 in March and I have designed this aperture card for the occasion. I used Centura pearl 300 gsm for the base card and set it to cut twice and was very pleased that it cut so well as it is an intricate design. My usual ribbon and beads to finish. I am quite pleased with this one!
I've just noticed a couple of dark marks on the photo - I think they must be snippets of ribbon which have clung to the card - they're not there now!
