I can sometimes find it hard to get creative without having a specific idea in mind so this year my New Year's resolution is to create more (and blog more) so I have started
52 Cards Challenge
Each Monday i will post 3 prompts and invite you to create a card/tag/project based on that prompt. This is more of a challenge to help others like me that would like to create more but get a bit stuck on where to start. I won't be offering prizes every week, but I do have my 100th blog post coming up and do have a goody bag ready for a challenge for that week!
I'd love it if you would join me, it will be great to see how others interpret the prompts! Don't be shy as this is just for fun!
Here's mine for this week, with brights, bling and ribbon! Details on my blog...
Ang - just realised that I didn't answer your question about my last card
Trish, I love the background, how did you manage such lovely shading? I am still learning to use my promarkers, did you use markers or chalks?
I actually used distress inks and the blending tool, it's really easy! Just leave the card inside the nestie that you use to cut it out and then it acts as a stencil so you get the nice white outline too...

Reason: to add more info!
What is this week's challenge? Don't know what has happened but when I click on your blog I can only see the challenge for week 14. I couldn't see last week's either and thought that you had omitted to post it for some reason.
arghhhhh, i am sooo far behind, i need to do from wk12 onward! i've had so many cards to make for myself that didn't fit the weeks prompts i've not had time to do any 'stock' ones!!!! hopefully over easter I'll get a few done!
i haven't even had time to look through here! have managed tonight to pull out some stash that will fit a couple of cards and have a few ideas!!!!
ooooh i have cards!!!!! had a bit of time last night, ds is off on a trip today so he had to have an early night lol!!!!
managed weeks 13 and 14!
week 14 i have use artistic licence ont he circles and used a yummy scroll stamp which are almost circular!
eta - forgot to say that both of these are background trials. the pink is alcohol inks and shaving foam and the blue is using gesso on a mask and spritzed with ink.
Another one who is way behind - here is my card for week 12 - it is a baby card - made just in time as I have just found out my brothers partner has gone into labour this evening.
What a good way to encourage us to get card making - and what lovely samples. As a newbie I have no chance of catching up with all the various weeks - but I will certainly try some of them !
here's mine for this week! not quite finished as i'm not sure who to give this to.the white 'ribbon' on the bottom will have the finished sentiment on it.
