I am new to this all year round crafting - only normally do lots of christmassy bits in November and December - then found this site and now know its perfectly normal to be cutting and glueing all year round - yippee. I decided to make one card a week this year to save a bit of the rush I normally have to get them all done in November - I have 3 done so far - must get a move on!!! Lots of fantastic inspiration here though. Thanks everyonexxx
I like getting it done really early so it's fun, rather than a chore. The minute I have a deadline and HAVE to do it is when it all becomes hard work. Interesting seeing the different views on making individual designs and choosing a single one for your cards. I had two main designs for last year, then did about 4 or 5 individuals. What does everyone else do?
Could anyone help me to find verses for children's Christmas cards. I looked at quite a lot of sites online but I want verses for children six and under. Thanks,
Hi, I just thought I'd share my first Christmas cards. I'm pretty new to crafting, but I've been looking at so many amazing things online that I think I probably got a bit ambitious and I'm picking lots of faults with basic errors I've made! It's all a fun learning curve though.
And these two pics are of a slider card:
Anyway, I've been a long time lurker and posted several questions on here that have received very helpful responses so I thought it was about time I posted something I've made.
Hi Kittykatz - that is a lovely card - I like the Tumble Ted range.
Christmas cards are such fun to do and I need lots, so I usually try to make 10 each month - that way it is not so much of a rush nearer the time. That's the theory anyway but real life and other commitments do tend to interfer !!
