I think you may have guessed by now that cloning is one of my favourite things to do in Inkscape I've just laid it on a dark background so it shows up better
Your topper is really cute Doreen. What a lovely bunch of designs, thanks everyone . I really enjoyed playing with this & could play for hours! Thank you Doreen setting this as a challenge & to Lucille & Joyce for the great tutorial.
I have made two loops and curls edged circular topper mats. The small one is 8cm & the larger one is 13cm (so would be good for scrapbook journaling too).
Finally managed to do something. I don't know why I struggle so much with Inkscape but I do. Anyway I think I got there in the end I think. Two versions of the same thing - one with a mat and the other with the centre cut out. Have autotraced the GSD file as the DXF was taking forever to cut. Haven't cut the SVG file as I can't do that from the Pro and I haven't got my little one set up at the moment so I hope it's OK.
well done every one, all the designs are fabulous, here is my effort.
I haven't tested the SVG I shall upload it when I've cut it.
Considering the GSD was made in Inkscape, I think it cuts very well, and not slow and juddering.
now added as, SVG file cuts fine.
