Reason: change screen shot
I'm still trying to find time to dabble with vector files, and here is my latest attempt, a Harlequin butterfly. I made it from scratch and it has taken me a loooong time
It will not cut very well in smaller sizes, the "balls" tend to come off.
I'm going to use those "balls" to glue on flatback pearls. Have fun!
This was left over from my challenge file and I was about to delete it when it occurred to me that it would make a nice stencil cut, so I've done my best to clean it up and get rid of bits too small to cut and reduced the nodes. I hope someone might find it useful
A butterfly stencil. I've cut this as a GSD and as an SVG the SVG cuts faster, but the GSD doesn't take too long. This was made to use as a stencil for painting on a wall, the smallest was about 1½" and cut fine from OHPF.
I cut this quite large in vinyl and put it on the lid of my laptop...just a pity the make was on the lid as it spoils the effect a bit....maybe I'll take the butterfly off, put something across the name and put the butterfly back over top of it. Before and after but I'm not sure I like it
I think I'll have to buy a proper laptop skin/
ETS I spoilt the white butterfly taking it off so I've cut a gold one and placed another one (not lattice) underneath to cover the name...sorry about the glare, gold is a pain to photograph

Reason: Ruined the white butterfly taking it off
I designed this butterfly sometime back in my Funtime software and came across it today and decided I would convert it to a GSD to share with my friends in the UK...........I hope some of y'all can use it!

Ok Lucille. The vase's I was going to put the vinyl's on are in use at the moment so as I'd already removed the cut outs from the vinyl to photograph them I thought I would put them on my Cameo and cut some more when I've emptied the vases. I have put the butterfly on my Netbook though. Here are the files ans photos
I was sent a file which I cut and put on my husband's car and then thought "I could make one for myself!" So here is the first one. The first picture shows the one I used for inspiration on the car.
I forgot to mention that I did not (and still don't) have any pink vinyl, so I coloured some white using Promarkers! I do need to find a few sheets of pink as many of my friends want one of these.
