Thank you Petrina and everyone who participated last month. These Challenges are great and we have some very lovely files to show for it.
This Month I have chosen these two functions Welding and Off Set Shape You can use free: fonts, dingbats, clipart, or graphics.
I choose two elements from fonts for my inspiration. I have two files for examples. I used Courier New, which is a basic font on your computer. The other file I used Spatz found here. It is a free font that can be shared.
For Newbies: Once you weld your shapes together, you can ungroup and adjust your shape or edit anchor points. When you get a mat you like, group all elements together. Copy your mat and click the Off Set Shape button. Just make sure you change the color of the off set layer before you click on something else. It makes it easier to change the color of that layer.

Reason: changing line colours
Square shape with 4 circles added to each side.
Used circle option on tool bar. Aligned cirlcle so arrows on middle of circle were aligned with line on square.Copy and paste and use arrows on key board to move to other side of square.Repeat on other side.
Select all and weld. Copy paste send to back click on off set shape set to desired size 5mm in my case with round method of join.
Im not saying this is the best way of doing this but I find it easier than using the grid and trying to draw lines.

My Blog needs updating.="http://artfeltcreations247.blogspot.co.uk/"]here[/URL]
Here is a file for a double layer fan. I put the two layers together with a flat glueing at the centre point and 3mm foam pads at the outer edge of the top layer to raise it above the base layer. The file contains 2 fan sizes. Made in Robomaster v5
The card and box were not cut with robo but they are one of a series of print and (scissor) cut, gatefold card pdf files which I have been working on with Tina. These cards have a choice of 10 different front shapes.
