i had to make a christmas lantern for my grandchildren and it turned out ok so i thought someone else might be able to use it i put a small battery light inside.
i got the idea from a rubber stamp i have you have to cut 4 and stick them together
i have tried to convert it to gsd but no luck (been here before) but if anyone wants to have a go i am sure all those who only use gsd would appreciate it
thanks
Karen

I have been working on this for approx 4 months and it's been cut and cut and cut But never been right until Now !!! And now it's finished I can get on with the next one.
I know it's early for Christmas But Thought I would get my celebrations underway Quite easy to assemble too..
I have cut from perfumed card and only a little decoaration used, comes with a box to display or give as a gift...........
Ready for Christmas? NO nor am I But I think I'd better start so here's the first template to get you going. Some thing 3d and for everyone especially the children..
Cut from red and Black card & red card with the wreath being cut from green mirri card with a small bow and just enough room for your letter to be posted.
Started later than everyone (as usual) with my christmas theme but after the lily I thought a poinsettia would be nice for christmas the flowers are fixed into pot on cocktail and skewers
Another for Christmas and a unique one at that........... I have cut from various card 250 gsm, and the box is cut from acetate with mirri card top and bottom, it has fancy edging that goes all the way round and of course Not forgetting your Christmas Sentiment..... The NutCracker stands on his own podium..
Very easy to assemble and takes about 45 mins to complete once cut..
Yes you can use this as a Christmas Cracker or A Wedding Favour... Both look equally as good.. and different as a Wedding favour too.
Try making your own this year... with this template not much work to do
I have cut the Christmas one from Mirri card and Jan cut and assembled the Wedding one thank you Jan..
You can see them here and here also they are in the SALE
Thank you for this challenge Erika, it gave me plenty to think about whilst lying on my sunbed on holiday! There are some great design already, thank you everyone for sharing.
When I was little I used to make these baubles from old greetings cards or shiny foil paper. Here are 2 templates a smaller plain one which could be decorated in many ways - or embossed (cuttlebug snowflakes would look great) and a larger lattice one, not sure this would cut too well any smaller.
To make - you need to cut, score and fold 20 circles. Then stick the 'fins' of 5 circles together (all points meeting) for the top and the same for the bottom. Form the remaining 10 circles into a ring, sticking the 'fins' and use this to join the top and the bottom. This sounds so complicated but it is really very easy.
Another bauble, assembly the same as previous post. You can cut 9 circles from the first pass of an A4 sheet and then 2 more circles can be cut if the colours of the other 7 are unticked and the carrier sheet inserted from the other end. IYSWIM. 20 circles need to be cut in total
Well as the title says candles are nto just for christmas - this candle has been designed so it fits over LCD tealight (you won't be able to read by it though )
and just by accident (not) the candle body fits into your cuttlbug folders to enable you to give the candle sone texture - well would you expect anything less!!!
