another SIMPLE one...please don't laugh again and if you do, don't tell me...:lol
this is the Display Table that I prepared, I think it looked pretty good. I just made this to cut windows out of letter size paper. It took me about 2.5 pages per side. The big red circle in the center was to resemble the Japan flag. I got the idea of adding the birds of a stamp I have on hand. The birds are a template made by somebody else.
My son asked me to make these for him, they are for xbox shooter games, just dampen the back slightly and stick to the screen and use as a target bulls eye, Im sure the boys will understand what they are used for.
My daughter was stuggling to get motivated to learn the spellings of french numbers from 1 to 20 yesterday; so I made a Lift the Flap French Number Chart (print & cut) for her. Hopefully she will be pleased when she gets home from school today .
I used the following fonts: FamousBuildings, French Script MT, & Baskerville Old Face (I think the last two should already be installed on your PC already).
Loving the designs so far, thanks Ness72 & Shirley .
Ok I am hoping this will be helpful. I played with my CR last night since my hubby was kind enough to take our baby for about 1 hour! I created a file in svg from inkscape, I kept adjusting the lines until everything cut nicely. The document size in inkscape is 8.5 by 12" the green square is the printable area, I also included the arrow for loading on the carrier sheet and which side is the top right as you insert the carrier sheet looking straight at CR. Choose print and pick CR from inkscape. Click on use carrier sheet so it is selected, set user size to 8.5 by 12", select expanded edges. Make sure that the green is not set to cut, so that it is just there as a guideline.
I hope this helps... It made my life easier trying to cut scraps and figuring out the margins. Oh and make sure everything is set as landscape.
hi folks, my challenge is.........to make paper piece-ings from the likes of dingbats or clip art or maybe kids colouring books, or from anything!!
The font used was "Webdings" capital E for the desert scene.
I have made a desert scene from a dingbat, which I think would look the part with a snoozing mexican under a big sombrero in it, also, a nice water colour sunset, would also set it off, except I don't have any water colours,
.....and......
a cat topper also from a dingbat, the font used was LCR Cats Meow, capital K
for any one seeing this before I've added my screen shot, it won't be long I've just got to go to the other computer.
ps I have kept the original dingbat on the page, if you don't have the font you will only see a letter.
