Oh and just a heads up to you challenge addicts, go check out the spring sketch challenge as well! There's a little prize for that one too - so should keep you all busy this month!
I'm gonna try and do that one too, just trying to figure out how to put a stamped image into one of the sketches as I am a stamper through and through.
Kerry, thanks. Your turquoise and pink card works really well.

I also looked at the sketches and thought that could be interesting!
Soma, I used to have hundreds of rubber stamps and sold them all as I didn't use them, but now seem to be getting back into the stamps, especially the clear ones, there are so many lovely new designs around. I need to invest in some promarkers now!

April card challenge
I have a number of birthdays coming up in May so this is one card out of the way. Quite bold for me. As usual I had trouble with the photo and now I'll have trouble with the link bit, but here goes nothing!

I knew I'd do something wrong, the thumbnail image isn't working. By the way, the beige bit along the bottom isn't on the card, it's the carpet in case you hadn't guessed.

That's really pretty Susie. You've just reminded me that I have some of them butterflies somewhere!

Thanks Gwyneth. Funny thing is I never use butterflies as a rule and these were freebies, so now I've had to track down more so I can make another card or at least a similar one.
Thanks for your comment too Soma - yes it is rather Pink isn't it.

have left you a comment Susie
Kerry how could you bear to part with your stamps! I have hundreds and love all of them (ok some more than others)

I got your message thanks Soma. I'm only just starting collecting stamps and finding which work best for me. It's the colouring I find tricky but there are some fantastic stamps out there. I'll bet someone was grateful to receive all your stamps Kerry.

Susie & Soma, I never really did a lot with my stamps, most of them were the wooden backed ones. I am definitely going to invest in some promarkers and be more selective about the stamps I buy in the future so that I get full use from them.

Here is my entry for this challenge, hope it was ok to add a splash of lime green? If you click on it you will see it full size.
I bought some copics yesterday and dusted down my stamps as I haven't stamped in years. Thought I might find some mojo in doing this and I think it worked as I managed to make 10 cards earlier today, yay!

I only ever used watercolour pencils, are markers the way to go? How about blending?
Had a reasonably productive weekend! I went with the pink and orange for my second attempt and completely orange on the first but it was a bit too monochromatic so I added in a little green. Lots of lovely entries this month!
