I have made this for my daughters 'Breakfast Club leader', who now has taken Alyssa into her home every school day morning as the club at the school closed which has been a tremendous help, I shall be adding pictures of Alyssa to the pages and an Easter related gift inside the book.
Designed in DS using GBS, I made this book design card and gift box, it could be used for any occasion, Easter; Christmas; Baptisms; Christenings to name a few. I cut the book from plain white card, then I covered each page, only one side. All pages have that touch of spring feeling taken from 'The Blossoms Butterflies stack'. I added ink to all the edges and peel offs to the spine to give the overall effect.
I drew the lines on the box to give the impression of a book. The Egg and wording were cut from Plantin School Book/wording cut at 1"; I rolled the egg through the Cuttlebug to add a pattern which I then sanded to make it stand out. I purposely added the ribbon to have a slanted view and added adhesive pearls for decoration.
I designed the bunny on the design studio, and he is put together in a layered format to give him dimension. I embossed 2 panels of white card and used paper from 'Nana's Kids Pad', this was for both the boarder and the flowers which I cut out individually. The card measures 5" by 7", added a pompom for the tail; ribbon; jewels and fabric flowers/brad to embellish. The lettering was used using Plantin Schoolbook cart at 0.75".
Here's a quick Easter card I made for my best friend because she sent me one. I didn't have any Easter stash, but I think these MM papers worked quite well in the end
Actually, overall it wasn't that quick as it took ages to get the circle shape right from a square card blank
Created an Easter card for my MIL. My boys are giving her a mazipan Easter egg. The theme of this card is based upon the Easter egg hunt that I'm organising for my boys & their friends next week. Hence, the egg partially hidden among the grass!
Haven't really had time to get any Spring/Easter cards made this year, and totally forgot I had the perfect set of Pink Paislee stamps for them, buuuuuut here's one I did manage to make:
