Hi ladies - can anyone recommend a good white cardstock that is available to purchase on line? Particularly for colouring with Promarkers and Copics. I was looking at a great blog buy Suznne J Dean where she shows her techniques with the copics. The cardstock she uses is Gina X (I think) but I can't find a UK stockist and the P&P from the states is waaaaaaay too much!! I have have quite good results with papermania, but from the cards etc that you all post here I think I could do better!! Thanks!!
I'm rather partial to bristol board at the moment, really bright white & super smooth. Anywhere that sells artist supplies should stock it. I think the winsor & newton pad is about £6 for 20 a4 sheets.
Jayne the tria markers are more expensive because they have 3 nibs ... and I think they come in more shades ... I can find those locally and I have a couple ... but I feel that the ProMarkers are enough for what I want them for!
OK mind boggling here - how do they fit in 3 nibs?!
One nib is hidden under the other ... LOL ... Ingenious really ... these are used more by professional designers ... I knew of them way back when my cousin was studying interior design ... she still has her markers and they still work!
Fiona, I personal use a couple of papers the concord plain record cards are great to work on and are about 99pish for 100 4x6.
The paper I use the most is from Staples and is the mondi IQ intellegent 160grms finished paper and is about £7.99 for a ream and usually on buy 1 get 1 free. Hope that helps.
