Here is a couple of frames I made about a week ago. As usual you can choose if you want to cut them as frames or mats. Just untick the red lines in the cut menu if you want to cut them as mats.
* Made in Illustrator, converted to GSD in RM4.4.
* Element used from Floralia dingbat, letter f (altered quite a bit!).
* I have added a mat, and another slightly different version of the frame, but with only the outer bit. I thought it might make a more interesting frame.
There are some lovely templates on here now - thank you everyone!
This is my 2nd entry for the challenge and is actually part of another template which has been converted to make a frame. I shall post the main template as soon as I've converted it.
Hello all, this is my first frame. I used Monica/Silene's tutorial for Robomaster. I hope it will be of use to someone. I would just like to say thank you for all the lovely files you all share.
Ann
Sorry I put this in wrong place it should have gone into June Challenge
More fantastic frames added since I last looked, thanks to everyone for sharing them.
I wanted my entry to look like a moulded picture frame that I hoped would be useful on LO’s. I have used about 2 dozen concentric squares drawn with metallic gel pens on white card to try and achieve this effect. I’m pleased with the result, as it looks quite effective ‘in the flesh’.
The grey lines on the template should be drawn first with a gel pen, and the black lines are cutlines.
The photo I have used is of an unnamed ancestor, so if anyone recognises her – that would be a huge bonus. ROFL.
At last, what should have been easy, turned out a nightmare, this is not my original frame, after having trouble getting it to cut good, I asked for advice, and before I could complete it, my bloomin' laptop chucked it, I think the hard drive has broke. So this was one I done while having all the trouble with the other one, but I luckily done this on the main computer.
the shapes font is WINGDINGS 2, the words font is just a plain font that I traced over with the Closed Spline tool, because I didn't have a stencil type font installed, which means of course, you could tweak it to suit yourself, and the letter o is just the letter c rotated
It cuts no bother, I will either add a photo here of it, or, it will go into my gallery.

Reason: change screen shot and clean up file
I saw some mats like the flower one on create and craft, won't mention the person showing them as I don't think it is allowed, anyway I saw them and they were quite pricy for what you get so I decided to play around and do my own.The snowflake mat is my own idea as I needed a nice mat to showcase one of Silenes fabulous snowflakes.
Apologies for the image, obviously gold & silver mirri card and a scanner don't mix
As you see, the different sections of the mat can have different colour paper/card behind them so great for using those little bits I tend to hoard as they are too pretty to throw away
BTW, use quite thin card otherwise the small pieces won't come out without tearing the mat and don't cut them too small, I made mine to fit 135 x 135 mm square cards.
