If you have a font program some of them allow you to type in your words/title and then flip through the fonts you have so you can see what they will look like.
There are thousands of fab free fonts on the web and some sites even have that option as well, just Google and spend time looking at them, download everything and anything that you like, then you can join the rest of us font addicts and tell us how many dozens, nay even hundreds of fonts you just could not resist downloading.
Perhaps someone can remember the names of any sites that do have the type in your words option.
Just type in Free fonts or fonts in Google and there are loads of sites, as for knowing what to choose your biggest problem will be what not to choose, just go mad and enjoy yourself.
The times I've popped in somewhere to get x font and then it turns into 'Ooo I like that... download' you might even find you have to force yourself to stop downloading so you can deal with them all.
Just remember that weeks go by in the blink of an eye when you are looking through fonts!!! I did that once and eventually surfaced wondering how many decades had past whilst I was looking!
Will have a go looking for fonts - just dont know where to start with finding the right one !!!
You can search google for different types of fonts either by font name or type - e.g. snowflake font, script font.... and additionally most font sites will categorize them and/or offer search options.
Have a browse in our forum posts to see what people use and recommend, and visit the UKS home page regularly as there is a font of the week listed there.
