OK heres my attempt at my wedding invitation!!! A Gatefold Invite, outside covered in papermania double cardstock Victorian, inside covered with bazzill card Flirty. Stamped and embossed Wedding invitation, lilac and ivory ribbon, little adhesive gems and lilac butterfly...
I LOVE your card and I'm dying to know what the stamp is and what embossing powder you've used but I can't seem to get the page on your blog to load for me - any other one is fine but it just seems to be this one (maybe its just me!!).
my future dil wants me to make there wedding invites. she has seen some she likes and the have some sort off knot that when it opens it falls between the names off bride and groom anybody have any ideas as i cant find any to go by
I have just finished creating 50 of these! They were very much inspired by MargieS (see above) who has kindly allowed me to 'cardlift' if you can call it that - thanks Margie.
What a nightmare the heat embossing was! I could not get the stamp to give a clear image so had to colour parts in with a versamark pen, very fiddly. x x
I remember when I made some for a friend I had to heat emboss the image - never again! My heat gun kept cutting out to cool down and like you I had to use a versamark pen too. I made 150 and was sooooooooooooooooo glad to see the back of them. I think I even threw the stamp away afterwards so I couldn't be reminded of it!
Your guests will be lucky to receive these
