cardmakers block! Inspiration needed...
I was asked several weeks ago to make a 60th birthday card for my aunt to give to a friend.
I'm often making cards on her behalf and, as her and her friends are really keen on line dancing I suggested I buy the large sizzix cowboy boot die (which she paid for... adding to the pressure of me making a fab card!)
So... I have the large cowboy boot due (which I had planned to used with some leather scraps) a fast approaching deadline and complete mental block!
Please help! I need some inspiration.

Check out the following blog, click on March
http://bcr8iv.blogspot.com/ Michelle did an excellent boot. Also the following:http://okieladybugsscrapnmore.blogspot.com/ scroll down her page and go to boot.
You could add a neck -er-chief around the boot body, a cowgirl bling hat to the top and added a saying 'struting at 60 Yeehah!' Or along those lines, happy card making.

Let the good times roll.........
I've got a cowboy boot template to make a shaped card, there should be a thread on here somewhere with all the decorated cards on and I've seen loads on blogs.
The cowboy boot is here, http://www.craftytemplates.co.uk/Wes...MeTemplate.pdf
To make a leather effect on the sample I used my Cuttlebug and tiny mosaic embossing folder. You can get leather embossed effect card you could use with your die and snake skin embossed effect card too. I've got black leather card you can order from me and I can get you the snake skin effect one too.

Thank you Ruth and Crafty Princess!
These are both great, I have now scrapped my idea of using the sizzix die as it'll take me far too long to figure out the rest of the card!
I'm going to use the boot template to make one like Michelles. I don't usually copy ideas but I only have two days left to make it.
Don't you just hate crafters-block!
Thanks again for your help!x
