I have the Craft Robo 200 with DM software, and loving it. Going through the Manual slowly and the tuts on here, so far so good.
Bye for now Ann

I have just ordered a new CR, and waiting anxiously for it to be delivered while I am off work with a broken ankle, so hopefully I'll be able to get go grips with the basics before I go back to work in 2 weeks.

I have CR100 (did not realize there is a newer version) but I was able to get a newer software from Graphtec, it's RoboMaster Version 4 and I'm not sure if this is the same as Design Master.
I just got my CR last month and I'm still learning, thank you for all the posts in this forum! This is a great site, even Grapthec USA recommends this.

EVERYTHING must be STRAIGHT or else the world will EXPLODE!
I've had my new Robo 200 for about a month and I'm hooked! I use the Robo Master software for simple shapes and Design Master for more complicated stuff and welded words. It's been a bit of a steep learning curve but each time I use the software it gets easier.

I have the new craft robo and the old one the new one cuts a lot deeper but seems to take longer as it slows itself down but doesn't chew things up like the old one, I love the auto trace in the new software it has made life a lot easier

My new model Craft Robo is arriving TOMORROW. That's a Saturday, so I'll have some time to get things sorted out and maybe even CUT something! I'm a Mac gal, and have used Illustrator quite a bit over the years, so I'll be creating and cutting from the Graphtec supplied plug-in. I also use the Parallels virtualization software, so will probably play with the PC software as well. I'm so glad to have found this group of creative people who share their knowledge and experience.

I have the older CR and software and have not used it for some time, but want to start using it again.
I'm wondering if I can get the newer software, and whether I should (if I can). Are there advantages/disadvantages to the newer version, etc. Any input would be appreciated!
