Hi Jane, thank you I stamped pieces of grass with the studio G stamp. I used a green primas pencil and coloured lightly across the whole grass area. I used the sansador and stumps to blend sweeping it across in circular movements. I stuck down my stamped images then went over the areas with the same colour where there would be shading just to give a slightly deeper colour - under the tree and chair. Again blended as much as possible with the sansador. The sky was coloured in a pale sky blue prisma and again coloured lightly then blended. Hope this helps and thanks for your wonderful comments. Lovely cards everyone love the drawing books CraftyPrincess! One thing I want to ask, how do you all get the cheeks so rosey. I use watercolour pencils and when I try is either just washes away or the colour just clumps together and really spoils them.
Here's my latest cards, both for girls at work who are having birthdays next month:
