I was unsure where to upload this but it cuts beautifully on my machine, so I hope it is ok to post here if not please could someone tell me ASAP before I upload the next pop up I have done.
popup
Did this in Illustrator. If you want a coloured frame round the window then do it as a print and cut. As it goes in the inside of a card I used thin card as I found that easier to fold. I also printed a pattern on the back of the card before cutting so that when it is folded and you look through the window it looks like wallpaper inside. I am attaching folding instructions in case anyone needs them.
Here is my version of Gentleflower's challenge. I enlarged and traced around Linda's ted and converted him into my first ever pop up. The chain of teddies is one of Ruthan's templates.
sorry not been around much I am very busy at the mo please forgive me for lack of down loads.
this cuts beautifully though I did want red vellum for the wine but I could not find any.
Here's my star card for the challenge - it's a pop-up one. I am still very much a robo newbie & this is my first template that I have uploaded. The card fits into a 6 x 6 inch envelope. I used a pen with the pen holder to draw the lines on the star.
I am really into pop-up cards at present, so turned Ruthin's design through 90degrees and used the shape. The flowers were made in DM modifying an 8-pointed star.
I prefer to score the fold but I have marked the dashed lines on the template
Here is the template for the concertina card.
If you wish to add a back to the card just cut an oblong 3 cms longer than the card when folded and wrap this 3 cms round to the front.
Last one for today. The clasp can be cut from gold and added as an extra. I have also done a separate template so if you want you can use a patterned overlay. Q** don't do that for you!!!
I saw this type of popup in a local stationers and thought I would see if I could adapt for robo and us dragonflies as I love dragonfles have and have tried taking piccies of them when they land on my fishing rod but they sit there for ages until I get the camera out and off they flit....
Well August is here and of course the weather is doing what it always does in August …………..
So this month's challenge is entitled ‘Fun in the Sun’ and the emphasis is on FUN
To start the process off, fun for me is the beach, especially our beach hut so firstly I am posting a print and cut pop-up card. Think also of the ‘clever’ words and phrases which link with ‘fun’, for me ‘Life’s a beach!’, ‘Relax and Enjoy!’, ‘Sun, Sea and …’ etc
It would be great to see some layouts and pen work, so now it is over to you clever lot to be creative and humorous!
