My grand-daughter is really into Pirate of the Carabean, like most 7 year olds !
So I spent the afternoon creating this template.
The finished box is aprox width 5cm length 7.5cm Height 3cm. I cut it from the holographic film i got from poundland , which cuts really well, just need to be careful when removing from the backing sheet. I then cut plain paper one and covered with the holographic foil.... which works really well as both peices are exactly the same is was easy to do.
I tried to photograph but didn't come out too well, will try again when camera re-charged !!

Reason: adding piccy
I decided to make one in 'wood' as well.........
I have printed this and its ok the cut is the same file as the previous chest and cut and makes up the same.
Hope some of you can use this. Decorate as you choose.
Cut on fairly thick red card (with a core) twice. Pink tip with 0 ring. Speed 7, pressure 30. Cuts like a dream.

I'm not a complete idiot.......some pieces are missing!
A5 Giftbox (approx 2cm deep) with Colonial style edging on lid - First of several giftboxes I intend to put up, each with a different edge finish on the lid. The base will remain constant. This is tested and works like a dream. What with Christmas looming at an indecent haste I thought this series of boxes might prove useful and time-saving. Enjoy!
I've made these templates based on the box I make with my simple card scorer. This box is nothing fancy at all, but when made out of 220/230 card (you'll probably need to cut and paste to cut twice..I do) it seems to be fine.
The terrible picture is of the one I've just tried and tested with ordinary copy paper.
Here's the second in this series - this has been tested. I have improved the accuracy of the base. Thank you all for your kind comments on the Colonial edged box, I hope this is as well received.
I promised someone to do deckle edging next (can't remember who, sorry that person, attention span of a goldfish), so here it is. I have tested it using 200gsm card.
It occurred to me that some might like to use the edgings I have been doing (still more to come!) for other than boxes and peel offs. For this reason I have not locked the elements on the box lids, therefore the horizontal and vertical bits can be copied and pasted into another design.
I drew this template in ROBO Master after looking at a box that had vitamins in it that I was getting ready to discard. I hope someone can use it...like maybe for a small bottle of fragrance or decorate it in a birthday decoration and put candy in it for treats at a child's birthday!
Oops, I forgot to add that the lovely flower I used to decorate the one I cut, was made by Doris, the Crafter here at UK Scrappers!

I drew this template in Robo Master today. In the photo, I just used some old cardstock to practice cutting the file and I did not put any acetate or transparency in the window, nor did I put any little thingies in there to "shake"...I just wanted to see how it cut and it cut fine. I also made three different shaped cutouts for the "window": square, circle and oval....you can take your pick! It can be resized for your use. I made this one a three inch square. I hope someone can use it!!!
