Will definately have a taste of the gin, but leave most of it for pressies. We have a ton of the sloes here, mostly cos its an airfield and no one can get at them except us - bwahahahahah!

I make my own crackers for christmas day as you get such rubbish in the ones you buy
If I dont have time buy a cheap box and add more decoration and slip small presents in the hole and push back into shape
mini bottles
Keyrings
jewellery
etc

That reminds me when we were little my Mum had made this snowman (quite large) and inside was a little gift for everyone who was at Christmas Dinner - something silly all the same, but personal
I have also done this with the crackers, and put a numbered ticket inside for the gift. http://www.hawkin.com/ have a good selection and many are reasonable and cracker size

AKA Julie, Joolz, Jules, Jools and Oi!
If you have grown ups round for christmas day dinner...but a value pack of crackers and enough lottery scratchcards to poke inside each one...much better than a plastic moustache!!!
