Make them as long as you want by resizing or copy/paste and joining them up. If you want to make a square just copy and rotate the parts. You have to ungroup some of the borders and delete a little bit at the end when making a square to get it to fit.
These borders are similar to the Simple borders I posted earlier.

There is also a little bit you can use if you want a closed end.
Attached - My first more complex one and I have cut it fine using standard copier paper speed 5 and 12 pressure with the yellow blade. Have a scraper ready for the cutting mat though :-)
Hmmm thumbnail isn't great is it - will work on that tomorrow night and see if I can improve for you all

This is the first time I have actually designed something myself rather than using one of the lovely templates on here.
I hope it's useful for someone - the two edges are currently spaced sufficiently apart that you can place a piece of 10mm ribbon (as shown on the card) but you can widen the gap.
Cuts very well - although you may need to punch out some of the smaller holes
