Black and white image help
There is, I think, a fairly well known image of a 2d figure of a man in black and white, silhouette style as opposed to any detail on the man. The drawing of it is quite angular, the man looks a bit spiv like and may or may not be smoking a cigarette and may or may not have a jacket over his shoulder, I am getting two pictures muddled up that much I do now, one is a line drawing and one is the man in mostly black. For the life of me though I can't find these pictures anywhere and have got it into my head that i want to use it on a card!

It is not that scottish artist, whose name completely escapes me?
I think he did something like 'waiters on the beach' or something! umm probably not too helpful....

Dedicated Scrapper
Could be Jack Vettriano (that might not be spelled right ) He's Scottish and has certainly done people on beaches. Can't quite bring to mind any B&W pictures but he might be worth a try...

No tried him yesterday, I ended up going with a different idea on the basis that this would guarantee that i will see the picture sometime in the next week!

Hev, not a complete lunatic, but getting there!
If you're talking about a very stylised figure, I think I know the image you mean. It's probably a copyright free image that you could find in a Dover publication, but I know that Clarity stamps do it.
