Have been playing and playing with Illustrator and live trace (since I worked out how to use it ). I've just done this fishing cutout and am really pleased with it. The image was taken from a royalty free piece of clip art. Once it was cut the fish did come away from the line (the one that got away - LOL) because the link was so fine, but it is fine.
Hope you like it.
Edited to say: sorry the piccy is not very clear - I don't have a scanner and this a photo in poor lounge light.
Should also say that the image is pasted onto itself so that the robo cuts it twice. If you only want it cut out of thin card then just Highlight the whole picture and delete one copy - it should leave one behind on the page.
Hi this is my first attempt at uploading a gsd file but not sure I have done it right. This is my way to say thank you for all the help and support you have all given to me in the past week or so since I bought my CR (or Robocop as I seem to have taken to refering to it as). I can't believe how hooked I am - my poor children have been ignored as has my OH (other half) which isn't good as we have been off work - even the sunshine hasn't got me to move away - ha ha!!!

I was asked to make some greetings cards for a badminton club. The greeting on both the front and insert is cut using the stencil font Ellis and of course the message inside reads 'have a smashing time!'
Thought someone might find the racket and shuttlecock useful!
I have been playing with my craft robo for some months now, sticking to what I know best - fonts and words! Having seen some of the fantastic templates on here I decided the time had come to try something of my own and here is my first attempt - I needed something for a skiing page in a scrapbook so here it is....
I have put this in the wrong place first off - I am sorry and have slapped my wrists hard. If an adminer could remove it from the image room, that would be even better.
I was so chuffed that someone actually asked me for this file, that I decided to put it here as well.
I used brown leatherette card which needed 2 cuts, so the image has 2 layers. Obviously one can be removed if your card is not as thick.
I hope it works for others as it worked for me.
I am so sorry everyone - what a thicky I am!
Well I think maybe now I have got it right, please test it and let me know?
